Terezie Smejkalová is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Legal Theory, Faculty of Law, Masaryk University, Brno. She has been interested in the intersections between law and language and semiotic nature of legal communication and legal meaning. This interest, together with dedication to empirical legal research brought her to the intersection of law and social psychology, specifically the social representations paradigm. She has been systematically working on introducing this paradigm into legal conceptualization. In this context, she led a previous successful GAČR-funded project exploring the usefulness of this paradigm, both theoretically and methodologically in understanding the social dimension of legal meaning.
She is the principal investigator of this project.

Markéta Štěpáníková is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Legal Theory at the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University and in the Music Production Department at the Faculty of Music of Janáček Academy of Performing Arts. She received her Ph.D. in Legal Theory from Faculty od Law, Masaryk University, in 2016. Her research interests include Art Law, Law and Humanities and Law and Literature. She has been a director of Legal Theatre Group at the Law faculty of Masaryk University since 2015.

Mgr. Ondřej Glogar, Ph.D.

Ondřej Glogar is an Assistant Professor at Janáček Academy of Performing Arts, Theatre Management and Stage Technology Department. He studied law (as well as Czech studies) at Masaryk University, where he earned a doctorate focused on legal language and its corpus-based analysis. During his studies, he became interested in how closely law relates to a wide range of other fields, including language and literature, especially in terms of working with text, meaning, and interpretation. He works as an assistant professor at the Theatre Faculty of JAMU, where he teaches law in various artistic contexts, and he also serves as a judicial assistant at the Constitutional Court. His research lies at the intersection of law, art, linguistics, and other disciplines, in line with the methodological approaches of Law and Humanities.

Mgr. et Mgr. Petr Palíšek

Petr Palíšek is a researcher at the Psychology Research Institute of Masaryk University. His dissertation deals with new approaches to the study of judicial intuitions. He has collaborated with members of the Law and Society Lab on their research of social representations of vague legal concepts, providing methodological and quantitative support. He also teaches psychometrics, factor analysis and works as a psychometrician contributing to the cognitive-ability screening system Invenio.

Mgr. Dennis Wassouf, Ph.D.

Dennis Wassouf is an Assistant Professor at Masaryk University, Department of Legal Theory. His research sits at the intersection of legal theory, critical legal studies, political theory, and literary scholarship. In his work, he examines the theoretical status of ideology and the place of ideology critique in contemporary critical legal studies, with particular attention to its emancipatory ambitions and limits. He also develops politically attentive readings of literature and the arts, exploring how cultural forms illuminate, reproduce, and contest legal and political authority.

Bc. Zuzana Semlerová

Zuzana Semlerová is a master’s student in Psychology at the Faculty of Social Studies, Masaryk University. She is a member of Q-hub, an association focused on supporting the mental health of LGBTQIA+ people and on educating the public and professionals about queer issues. Within Q-hub, she facilitates support groups for queer people in Brno. She also works at a low-threshold center for children and youth at Společnost Podané ruce.

Natálie Macošková works as a researcher at the Institute for Psychological Research at Masaryk University. As part of her doctoral studies, she focuses primarily on risk behavior in adolescents and substance addictions, and to a lesser extent on behavioral addictions. She has also long focused on cognitive functions, which she has been researching since the beginning of her studies. In her professional practice, she works as a psychosocial counselor helping victims of crime.

Tomáš Havlíček is a researcher at the Department of Legal Theory and the Judicial Studies Institute at Masaryk University. His work focuses on the critical analysis of judicial decision-making techniques at both the national and European levels. As a member of the Nomos research center at Jagiellonian University in Kraków, he also examines questions related to power aspects in law and legal culture. He is further interested in the social impacts of the digital transformation of the judiciary and public administration bodies.
